"Kyo, are we are going to be friends?"

Yuki and Kyo were walking home after college one day. They were both freed from the Sohma curse and were getting along without throwing fists or kicking each other. They have been freed from the curse for almost a two years. Kyo was dating Tohru and Yuki was still single as he has yet to ask a girl out. He really likes someone but no one but Yuki knows who it is.

"Kyo, are you sure? You have wanted me dead for a long time. You sure you can just stop hating me all together? Plus, how did the curse break?" Yuki was still wondering how the curse broke and why was Kyo being nice to him? Has Tohru changed him that much?

"Yuki, the curse broke because someone finally loved me. If someone's destiny was to never find love and they fall in love, the curse it broke. That is how I take it. As soon as Tohru confessed her love for me and I confessed how I felt back, I felt the curse, in a way, left. I can take off the bracelet and not change forms. Tohru was the secret for breaking the curse and I am glad that Akito allowed her to stay.

"As for fighting you. I don't see the need to fight you anymore. I am part of a family, Tohru's family. I also see now that I was always part of the family. Ayame, Shigure, and everyone else who treated me like I was human and don't think I was a monster, they accepted me in the family even if they didn't say anything as they feared Akito."

"That's for sure. Everyone did fear Akito. I even feared her. I am happy to know that she is human just like the next person."

"Yeah. Oh, Yuki, Tohru wanted me to ask if you would like to come over this weekend?"

"Sure, I would love to come over. I really haven't seen her around school that much so it would be great to see her again."

"Welcome Yuki, Ayame, and Haru."

Tohru was welcoming everyone into the house. She and Kyo had a secret and they wanted everyone there.

"Welcome ... oh. I am happy to see that you did decide to come Akito. Please come in."

Against Kyo's constant nagging, Tohru invited Akito also.

"Okay Tohru, everyone is here, Should we start?" Kyo just wanted to get this done as he didn't want to stay in his outfit. Kyo was wearing a business suit.

"Sure Kyo." Tohru goes and stands by her lover. "Okay everyone. You all know that me and Kyo have been dating for almost two years now. As of last Sunday, I am future Mrs. Kyo Sohma. He asked me to marry him. It did take him almost ten hours to ask me but he finally got it out."

"HUH! You said that you were not going to say that." Kyo's face was a deep red and he couldn't hide as Tohru was holding his hand.

"Also, I am carrying his child. It is due in 8 months."

Rin, Kisa, and the rest of the Sohma girls ran over to Tohru to congrat her and the marriage and on the child. All except Akito. She was stunned how much has changed. Kyo and Tohru were getting married. Yuki has become more outspoken and more comfortable around people. Haru has been married for almost a year and everyone else is either in love or dating someone. She has not moved forward as much as the rest of them has.

Haru, Aya, and the rest of the Sohma males ran over to Kyo.

"Akito, would you come over here please." Kyo was calling her and she didn't want to move.

"What do you want?" She walked over to Kyo even through she didn't want to.

"Would you like to be my wife's maid of honor? Ayame, would you design the dresses and the tuxes? Yuki, would you like to stand at my side also? You can be my best man."

"Maid of Honor ....?" Akito was stunned.

"Oh my goodness. I would love to design your dresses and tuxes. It would be a honor." Ayame was dancing around the room.

"Suuuuuurrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeee." Just as Yuki answered, Ayame grabs him and swings him around in a circle in the excitement of the days news.

"I would like to be you maid of honor Tohru."

~~ a year later ~~

"Wasn't today great? Didn't Akito look nice in her dress. Ayame want out of his way to make sure that we all looked the best we could."

"Yeah he did. I really liked Yuki's outfit. It remember me of high school and the festival when he played the fairy godmother." Kyo laughed.

"Yea and you looked just like the prince you were that night also."

"Yeah I did." Kyo kissed Tohru and they starting making out.
